Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy applies to consumers within the meaning of the statutory provisions. For businesses or individually negotiated leasing contracts it applies only where mandatory law provides for it.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Joseph Scheicher, Galerie Midl, Polgarstraße 22/3, Tür 10, 1220 Vienna, Austria, email hi@midl.art, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us. Reimbursement is made without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless expressly agreed otherwise. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions

There is no right of withdrawal for goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may expire early if you expressly consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
For businesses, B2B leasing, or individually negotiated contracts there is no statutory consumer right of withdrawal, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
